These recordings are .mp3pro files encoded at 24kbps and these files are between 1 and 10 megabytes in size.

MP3s will play on standard media players which support .mp3 playback. If you happen to have a player which supports .mp3pro the audio quality will be improved.

Depending on your system and connection speed, the talk could begin almost immediately, or take several minutes to buffer the stream.
Your audio player should provide cues about the status of the stream.

Saving an MP3 to your computer

You can save the file directly to your system by right-clicking on the link to display a list of options, then choosing the "Save Target As..." option to display a standard Save As dialog box.
Be aware, though, that this process can take some time, because the files are large.

If the audio player indicates that the file is playing but you hear nothing, or the volume is low,

Try adjusting the volume settings for your system. Hardware volume adjustments are unique to each system; software adjustments for Windows systems can be accessed by displaying the desktop, pressing F1 to display the Help system, and typing "volume" in the search box.

Also, the audio player itself usually has a volume-adjustment setting you can change.
