Dharma Talk Series: The Song That Attests to the Way by Reverend Master Meian Elbert.
The Song That Attests to the Way is an aphoristic poem written in Chinese by Great Master Yung-chia Hsuan-chueh (J. Yoka Genkaku) who lived from 675-713 C.E. His initial question at the start of this profound work is one we all face: "Good sir, have you not yet caught sight of the one who has broken off his pursuit of knoweldge, seeks no goals and now leisurely walks the Way?" In the seven retreat talks below Rev. Master Meian examined the teachings this poem holds for us in our contemporary lives.
